Use of Cookies
When you use and visit our website, cookies or similar technologies such as pixels (hereinafter generally referred to as "cookies") are used on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser on your device to store certain information, or image files, such as pixels. The next time you visit our website with the same device, the information stored in cookies will subsequently be sent back either to our website ("first party cookie") or to another website to which the cookie belongs ("third party cookie").

Through the stored and returned information, the respective website recognizes that you have already accessed and visited it with the browser of your device. We use this information to be able to optimally design and display the website according to your preferences. Only the cookie itself is identified on your device. Any further storage of personal data will only take place with your express consent or if this is absolutely necessary in order to be able to use the service offered and accessed by you accordingly.

This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
  • Strictly necessary cookies (type a)
  • Functional and performance cookies (type b)
  • Cookies requiring consent (type c)

We will inform you about the types of cookies we use in each case, which types of cookies are set and used.

(1) Strictly necessary cookies (type a)

Strictly necessary cookies ensure functions without which you cannot use our websites as intended. These cookies are used exclusively by us and are therefore first party cookies. This means that all information stored in the cookies is returned to our website.

Strictly necessary cookies serve, for example, to ensure that you, as a registered user, always remain logged in when accessing various subpages of our website and thus do not have to re-enter your login data every time you visit a new page.

The use of strictly necessary cookies on our website is possible without your consent. For this reason, strictly necessary cookies cannot be deactivated or activated individually. However, you have the option of generally deactivating cookies in your browser at any time (see below).

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit.b GDPR.

(2) Functional and performance cookies (type b)

Functional cookies enable our website to store information already provided (such as .B registered name or language selection) and to offer you improved and more personal functions based on this. These cookies only collect and store anonymized information so that they cannot track your movements on other websites.

Performance cookies collect information about how our websites are used in order to improve their attractiveness, content and functionality. These cookies help us, for example, to determine whether and which subpages of our website are visited and in which content users are particularly interested. In particular, we record the number of visits to a page, the number of subpages accessed, the time spent on our website, the order of the pages visited, which search terms led you to us, the country, the region and, if applicable, the city from which the access is made, as well as the proportion of mobile devices that access our websites. We also record movements, "clicks" and scrolling with the computer mouse to understand which areas of our website are of particular interest to users. As a result, we can tailor the content of our website more specifically to the needs of our users and optimize our offer. The IP address of your computer transmitted for technical reasons is automatically anonymized and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the individual user.

You can object to the use of functional and performance cookies at any time by adjusting your cookie settings accordingly.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

(3) Cookies requiring consent (type c)

Cookies that are neither strictly necessary (type a) nor functional or performance cookies (type b) will only be used after your consent.

We reserve the right to use information that we have obtained by means of cookies from an anonymous analysis of the usage behavior of visitors to our websites to show you specific advertising for certain of our products on our own websites. We believe that you as a user benefit from this because we display advertising or content that we believe to suit your interests based on your surfing behavior and that you are less likely to receive randomly scattered advertising or certain content that may be of less interest to you.

Marketing cookies come from external advertising companies (third party cookies) and are used to collect information about the websites visited by the user in order to create targeted advertising for the user.

Opt-out for marketing cookies

You may also manage cookies used for online advertising through tools developed in many countries as part of self-regulatory programs, such as.B us-based https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or EU-based http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices.

You can revoke this consent to cookies at any time with effect for the future here.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

(4) Management and deletion of all cookies

In addition, you can set your Internet browser in such a way that the storage of cookies on your device is generally prevented or You will be asked each time whether you agree to the setting of cookies. Once cookies have been set, you can also delete them at any time. You can find out how all this works in detail in the help function of your browser.

Please note that a general deactivation of cookies may lead to functional restrictions of our website.

Google Analytics

In order to make our offer on our website www.naturavitalis.com even more customer-friendly, our website also uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google")

Google Analytics also uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on the computers of users and enable analysis of their use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about the use of this website by our users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address as a user of Google will be shortened beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. IP anonymisation is active on this website. On behalf of us as the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by users, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet use.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. As a user, you can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, this offer warns you as a user that in this case you may no longer be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

In addition, as a user you can prevent Google from collecting the data on your use of the website (including your IP address) generated by the cookie, and also prevent the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:

As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent future data collection by Google Analytics within this site. An opt-out cookie is placed on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click this link again.

Use of Facebook social plugins
Our website also uses so-called “social plugins” (“plugins”) from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Social plugin from Facebook” or “Facebook social plugin”. An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.

If you call up a page on our website that contains such a Facebook plug-in, your browser will not establish a direct connection to the Facebook servers until you activate the respective Facebook plug-in yourself by clicking on it. Otherwise the Facebook plugin remains inactive or passive.

If you as the user activate the Facebook plug-in, it will then be transmitted from Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are currently not logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is sent from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can immediately assign your visit to our website to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or making a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in the Facebook privacy information at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website directly to your browser or your Facebook profile, you must not activate the respective Facebook plugins on our websites by clicking on them. You can also completely prevent the loading of the Facebook plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the “Facebook Blocker” (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).

Newsletter
With the newsletter to be requested from us, we will be happy to inform you about us and our offers by email free of charge. If you would like to receive our newsletter, we need a valid email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. Further data are not collected.

These data shown and collected above will only be used by us to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. We only pass on this data to a service provider commissioned by us with the exclusive purpose of ensuring the proper dispatch of the newsletter using your e-mail address and at the same time to prevent misuse of your e-mail address by a third party as completely as possible.

When you register for the newsletter, we therefore save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as evidence in the event that a third party misuses an email address and signs up for the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised party.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation is free of charge and can be done via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by notifying the Natura Vitalis® contact options above.

Security note
We endeavour to save your personal data by taking all technical and organisational options so that they are not accessible to third parties. However, we cannot guarantee complete data security when communicating by email, so we recommend that you use the postal service when transmitting confidential information.

Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
According to Article 77 of the GDPR, you as the data subject have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data by us is not lawful.
However, you can also send any inquiries or other communications directly to us at any time by post, fax or electronically to our contact address listed above for data protection matters.

Other:
Our website can be used without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) are collected about you on our website, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis on your part.

We also point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is unfortunately not technically possible at the moment. However, should we specifically become aware of a violation of the protection of your data stored by us, we shall inform you and the responsible supervisory authority in accordance with the legal regulation in Article 33 of the GDPR.

We hereby expressly object to the use by third parties of our abovementioned and published contact information as part of the obligation to provide a legal notice to send unsolicited advertising and information material. As the operator of the website, we expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event that unsolicited advertising information is sent, such as spam emails.
